Two new bridges for Gonaives
Haiti: The Haitian government and the EU have signed an agreement on Friday, May 28, 2010 to start construction on two bridges in the Gonaives region. The two bridges will connect Gonaives to Mapou and Guadin, Haiti. The bridges will cost 3.4 million Euro, and will be part of the rehabilitation program of Gonaives.
The bridges will be completed in 2011, and will help in reducing flood risk in the region.
