Haitian League put into the ground 10,000 seedlings Colora

Officials of The Haitian League (THL) conducted the first activity yesterday at the farm of Colora. 10,000 seedlings have been planted by the directors of THL accompanied by some sixty peasants in the region Lascahobas (Center).

The mayor and the residents of this city have embraced the tree-planting campaign that will generate income.

The President of THL, Bernier Lauredan, ensures that the trees have been planted only offer advantages. This tree-planting campaign is the first step of the proposed creation of the ecological farm of Colora.

In addition to trees and animals of various species, the site will host an agricultural school. Doctor Lauredan stresses the importance of the vocational school that will allow youth to obtain skills necessary for improving living conditions of the population.
